Uber “Stands Ready to Assist”

Uber is a service that connects drivers with people needing a ride. There has been some discussion lately on who is responsible if an accident occurs when someone is using this type of service. It would seem in this case that the Uber driver is responsible, although the bicyclist may have some liability because of the road rage actions. Uber said they are still investigating what happened and will assist in the police investigation. They also said their "thoughts are with the victim of this terrible incident."

When someone is injured in an accident, the at-fault party is usually liable for the victim's medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering and more. Personal injury attorneys can help victims determine what damages and losses may be sought in a civil action, as well as all parties that could be held liable.
