No stranger to controversy, Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Frances has made headlines once again.  This time it isn’t for displaying young half naked woman on his show, girls gone wild.  Instead, Joe Frances has made headlines for degrading the jury who ruled against him in his assault and false imprisonment case.

According to news sources, Francis was out partying at a Hollywood club called the Supper Club in 2011.  While at the club, he apparently met three women who were celebrating a college graduation.  According to prosecutors, when it was time to leave the club, Francis “took one of them by the hand as he left and took her to his limo, and the other two followed thinking Francis was giving them a ride to their car.”  Once they were all at his house a fight broke out and according to the prosecutor, Francis ended up “grabbing one of the women by the hair and throat and slammed her head into the floor.”

The city attorney filed misdemeanor charges against Francis.

The jury overseeing his case found Francis guilty of one count of misdemeanor assault and three counts of false imprisonment.
