Salmonella in Pet Food Products:

Last week I informed the readers of this blog of two pet foods recalls due to Salmonella contamination. I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but another manufacturer has recently recalled specific lots of their pet food products due to Salmonella contamination as well.

Natura Pet Products:

On March 18, 2013, Natura Pet Products issued a voluntarily recall of specific lots of its dry pet food due to potential Salmonella contamination. According to the FDA, “Routine testing by the Michigan Department of Agriculture collected from a single retail location tested positive for the presence of Salmonella. As a precautionary measure, Natura is voluntarily recalling all products from this production window.”
