Flying Foods Significantly Expands Recall

The FDA recently announced Flying Foods Group's Lawrenceville, GA facility is recalling additional products for concern over potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Recalled products include:

No illnesses have been reported. The facility has halted production pending an inspection of the facilities to determine the cause of the problem. Consumers with recalled products should destroy the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Fisher-Price Little People Builders' Load 'n Go Wagon

Fisher Price is recalling the Little People Builders' Load 'n Go Wagon for a potential laceration risk. The back of the wagon's handle can pose a laceration risk if children fall onto it. Affected products include:

  • Little People Builders' Load 'n go Wagon model number P8977

The wagon is red with a yellow handle, multi-colored blocks and a dog figure. The model number is on the bottom of the wagon. The label on the side of the wagon says Little People Builders, and Fisher Price is embossed on the handle. (Wagons with green handles are not included in this recall.

There were approximately 208,000 units sold throughout the U.S., and 2,800 in Canada. The products were sold nationwide at mass merchandise retail stores from June 2009 to July 2011 for around $25.

There have been 7 reported injuries, 5 of which required stitches or surgical glue. Consumers can contact Fisher Price at (800) 432-5437 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET, or visit the website at www.service.mattell.com
