After March 23rd 2011, we will discontinue using eggs in these Moon Cake & Hopia Mongo products.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the egg containing products were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of egg. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by mislabeling in the company's packaging process.
