She taught Spanish for a few years, received her Professional Certificate in Translation and Interpretation from UCSD Extension, and completed her Juris Doctor at Abraham Lincoln University, School of Law. She has been a freelance translator for over a decade. She has worked mostly in Immigration Law, with experience also in Employment Law and Litigation.
