Environmental Research Center Claims Genesis Pure Lacks Lead Warning

According to the Courthouse News Service, The Environmental Research Center is claiming that Genesis Pure, a weightloss and health supplement company, fails to warn consumers that many of its products contain lead. The alleged products include Health Trim Natural Weight Loss Ionic Blend, Health Trim Metabolic Boost, Genesis Pure LLC Fusion, CardioClean, and others.

Lead in Health Supplements not Uncommon

So far, the claims made against Genesis Pure remain unsubstantiated by other sources. Additionally, lead is a naturally occurring element which is present in many things we may come in to contact with everyday. For example, there was a flurry of activity after researchers in California discovered that calcium supplements contained an abnormally high amount of lead. It was later discovered that the sometimes toxic levels were due to the fact that the calcium was harvested from oyster shells which had somehow absorbed the lead from their natural environment.
