ConAgra Store Brands is voluntarily recalling 10 oz. cartons of Giant brand Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bars with a manufacturing code of May 20, 06 G1, 2151523200 on the top flap. The box may contain individually packaged Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Chewy Granola Bars. People with a food allergy will receive a full refund if they purchased the bars due to a mislabeling ay if they consume these granola bars.
The individually packaged bar wrappers correctly state Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Chewy Granola Bars and are safe to be consumed by anyone other than those allergic to peanuts. The product was only distributed in Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with this product. The company has notified the Food and Drug Administration and is working with them to assure the quality and safety of the food supply.
